What is Freestyle Wrestling

  Freestyle wrestling is a form of amateur wrestling that is practiced throughout the world. It is, along with track and field, one of the oldest sports in history.

According to the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA), freestyle wrestling is one of the four main forms of amateur competitive wrestling that's practiced internationally today. The other three forms of wrestling are Greco-Roman wrestling, Judo wrestling, and Sambo wrestling.

This event is a 2010 MN/USA State Tournament Qualifier

LOCATION:  SE corner of US Highway 61 and State Highway 97
PARKING:  Lot on south side of school, off Goodview Avenue
BUILDING ENTRY:  Door #11 - western most door on south building face

All wrestlers must have a current 2010 USA Wrestling Card.
Cards will be sold at the tournament.
Wrestlers participating in Greco will not have to weigh-in
again on Saturday, if they pay both days on Friday.
